Shadow of the Spirit

Seventh Thunder July 20, 2018

Israel (Zion) is a parable for Heaven, the land of milk and honey.

Ezekiel 20:6 In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:

Jerusalem is a parable for the spirit, which means the 'City of peace', and spiritually, Egypt is a similitude for the soul, the heart of men, where our spirits are held captive.

Deuteronomy 4:20 But the Lord hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.

Understanding these things, in the quietness of our spirit is inheriting the Earth, the glory of all the lands.

Psalm 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Because in turning to the Father in the spirit, will allow the Father to pass his understanding, which brings the peace to our mind, and cleanse our hearts, so that our hearts will no longer condemn us.

Psalm 104:30-31 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth. The glory of the Lord shall endure for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works.

In short, he makes us righteous, and that is his work he works in us.

Psalm 98:3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

As he promised through Jesus.

Luke 3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

Forget not, like the Lord, we all have to have our way made straight, and all our valleys filled with the knowledge of God.

Luke 3:5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;

It is his gift to those that serve him, receiving revelation in the knowledge of him, to all those that have full confidence in him.

1 John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

Ultimately, it is faith in the Father that brings understanding. Problem is, people have made religion their Father, which is to say their own thoughts, so instead of the Father, they have faith in man's knowledge about him, instead of God's word about himself.

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Such people have more understanding in the religions of this world, instead of the understanding that is directly given from God. They go to a church to hear men, but not do the work of God.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

The apostles didn't just parrot Jesus's teachings, they merely shared their understanding from what they have gained from following, believing and most importantly of all applying what Jesus taught. They heard and did.

2 Corinthians 10:14-17 For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ: Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly, To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand. But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

They read the Bible and listen to the sermons of men, proclaim themselves experts on the back of other men's words and even state that they're saved and have the Holy Spirit, boasting in front of men, all the while working iniquity, for they're dishonest servants of their own hearts lusts.

Psalm 81:11-12 But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me. So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

Again, if understanding isn't given from God, then it of this world, given to men by other men. The gospel isn't about memory work and earthly learning, it is about receiving revelations that enable men to understand the mystery of God, when reading the scriptures. They cannot be spiritually discerned before hand. After all, if a book has seals, the means to remove those seals to read the book has to be given first.

Ephesians 3:3-4 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

It is the holy spirit that removes the seals and opens your understanding when reading the scriptures, which will instruct, correct and as said below, reprove the ways of men's hearts, renewing the mind in perfection.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

That understanding shared is the gospel, those good works.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Those who do not understand, will only be obsessed with the flesh, and the literal house of Israel and the literal Jewish people. Fact is, these things are for the Jews and the Gentiles, and when the Gentiles are full with the knowledge of Christ, they will become chosen, like the Jewish people of the flesh, who know not that they're Gentiles also, since like all people and I mean all people, they're of the flesh.

Romans 3:9-11 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Growing a beard, wearing a hat, so that you can be identified as whatever you want to call yourselves is not going to help you. God is no respecter of persons, and won't hear one who seeks the knowledge of him through men.

Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Throw in those who have made the Father's house a 'Den of thieves' Christians, who have deluded themselves that they're the true spiritual people of the house of Israel, hence why most are weirdly obsessed with Israel and the Jews, since they're the ones who have mainly persecuted them on the Earth, since they're also ruled by their wicked hearts.

Psalm 10:2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

The same heart that will condemn all those who do wickedness through it.

1 John 3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

As people have been told before, judge not, or suffer the consequences.

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Remember, the disciples were Jewish also. And so as they were called out of Egypt spiritually as Jesus was literally, so must all of us be.

2 Corinthians 3:14-16 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

Moses set up the physical covenant, Jesus came to set up the spiritual covenant. Doing away with veil over the old one, the veil that has kept the mystery of God hidden to the minds of all men.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

After his resurrection, Jesus came back to his disciples and then he opened their understanding.

Luke 24:44-45 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Because the natural man, can't understand the scriptures in spiritual terms, because it would be foolishness to them, neither can they know them.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

In short, you have to be converted, renewed in spirit, first, so that you no longer see things in earthly terms, but witness the things of the spirit, in the spirit. That is the proof one needs for themselves. People alone must see it, no one can help them in this regard, no one but God. Not one human can renew the mind, hence the need to seek and receive the spirit to guide people.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

You begin the process of renewing your mind by doing exactly what Jesus taught, seek the Father within in spirit, first and foremost, thirsting after his righteousness, because you are humble enough to know that you're a sinner, held captive here, with no escape but through God. Takes a long time for most to get to that point, because they're in love with the world, and seek knowledge through self help books, spirituality, religion, celebrity, philosophy and psychology. In them people think they will be justified, but they won't be. Because the Father seeks such a one who seeks him in spirit, as the following parable evinces.

Luke 18:9-14 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

It has been mentioned enough times, that God isn't a respecter of persons.

Proverbs 28:21 To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.

Let no man deceive, by any means, which means just that. God is the saviour, and it is he that releases spirit from here. But as again mentioned, man doesn't hear, nor does he see or do, because that veil is upon their minds. Upon all minds.

Matthew 13:13-14 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

Because people don’t see with the spirit, an ability granted by God himself to understand these things.

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Turn to him first, because all else is will lead you astray, the world is broad, and its knowledge and its wisdom will lead to the destruction of knowledge. But the path of the spirit is narrow, and it is the spirit that brings the true life.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

People need to change the way that they think, which currently is of the flesh, so the need to see with the spirit is paramount. Because only then will the parables and similitude's will be made plain, and thus easily understood.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The darkness will become as the light, if people do as exactly as Jesus said to do. As it stands, men only follow those that speak of this world and love the earth, more concerned with the workings of men than they are of God. If they knew of God, they wouldn't question or marvel over what men do, because it would be understood, and not to mention, forgiven.

John 3:31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

All things will take on a new light, and only with that new knowledge can the new song can be learnt from reading the 24 books of the Hebrew Bible (The Tanakh), and the 4 Gospels of the New Testament.

Revelation 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth

Like said below, trust in the word you have received off the Father, and not that which comes out of the mouth of men.

Psalm 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Turn him in spirit, and in return, you’ll receive his spirit and knowledge of truth. It is easy to believe in Jesus, however as you can see on this Earth, few of the very few believe in his word, and fewer still do his word, because their heart is set on this world, and not the world to com, and because of that people will believe the following is about physical work, and not the work of God which is of the spirit.

Ecclesiastes 3:10-13  I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

Again, go within in spirit, into the secret place, entering into your closet of your mind (spirit), and become renewed with the direct word of God, that is quite literally transferred to your mind like a data packet, renewing it. That is receiving his Grace. Revelation. If the thoughts of your heart and flesh aren’t silent before him, you cannot receive them clearly, and the heart will set your mind to confusion.

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

You shut the door to the world, circumcise your hearts and be silent and humble before the Father, within. That is the correct way to pray.

Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Ask your Father what you will, with righteousness in mind, and you’ll receive. That was the promise. Faith is the beginning. Faith in the spirit, not the flesh.

Zechariah 2:13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the Lord: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

Again, revelation is of the spirit, not the flesh.

Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

In spirit, by God, who is a spirit, that is the rock on which those who are called out are built upon. The true church of God, who the thieves, the religious, especially Christians, have turned into the 'Den of thieves' The Father's true house of prayer, which is within the flesh.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Again, you reap what you sow. Sow tares reap the tares, sow wheat, receive the bread of life, which you can eat. That hidden manna, from God.

John 6:49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

All flesh leads to death. That is the last enemy to be defeated, by the spirit.

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

And get this very clear, his words were only about the spirit, and he spoke all the time, in parables about the spirit.

Matthew 7:22-27 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

If you equate Jesus words to anything of the Earth and the Flesh you are lost, and serve the God of this world, unwittingly.

James 1:26-27 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Call yourself a Jew, Christian, Muslim, even Black, Asian, White, Trans, Lesbian, Gay, Straight, all the marks of the flesh, then you should know what time it is. You've labelled yourself with the world's works, and thus aren't unspotted from the world at all, since you've let yourself be defined by the world.

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

The flesh (Old Testament) is merely the shadow of the spirit. (New Testament). And thus, this world, is merely a shadow of Heaven, but not the very image of.

1 Chronicles 29:15 For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

In the Spirit, since people rather follow the commandments and doctrines of men, other than God.

John 3:19-20 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

They seek after their words and laws instead of the Father within, they rather be correct and saved by man, rather than be corrected and saved by God. People create earthly laws and traditions to follow, instead of the following the law of the spirit, which would so simply do away with all laws. Regardless, such have their reward, because as said above, their hearts are set on this world, and so that's where their treasure is.

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

So as the following says, have the knowledge of righteousness put into your heart, so that the knowledge of heaven can be planted in the earth through your own work. Preach the good news, so that all people in their day can know God.

Isaiah 51:16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
