Merchants of the Earth
Genesis 9:9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
It is the 'Holy Spirit' which the world cannot receive that teaches a man about the things of the spirit, and passes on the 'Everlasting Gospel of Life' to the mind that has made itself ready to receive it.
Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
So, Genesis 9:9 now means, having the knowledge of the spirit being established within a person, and the seed would be the knowledge of the 'Gospel of the Kingdom' that someone with it has spread in the world. Such a one would be being fruitful and multiplying.
1 Corinthians 1:19-29 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.
People cannot overcome the world using the the very things of the world that bind people to it. Primarily, the wisdom of man, since a mind without the everlasting gospel can only perceive and understand the things of the flesh. Which is why men seek after signs in the earth, having their confidence base on the things of the flesh.
Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
For example, the saying 'Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him', the religious take an earthly view of that, and as such are expecting the supernatural to happen. Even if such a thing did happen, most still wouldn't believe anyway.
John 3:10-14 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
Jesus's life in the flesh was testament to that, as he pretty much stated above. So, unless people lift their spirit up into that 'Holy Place', how will they perceive the things of the spirit, when the 'Son of man' is only focused on the things of the flesh?
Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Now people are busy waiting for someone to come from the sky, to save all those that believe. But people again negate the things that are unseen, because they cannot see that eye = mind, and so the body is full of darkness.
Zechariah 10:1 Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
Jesus also said that he spoke in parables, and if they're not perceived with the spirit, then erroneous thoughts of the flesh will get in the road, and be a stumbling block. So, what do clouds do? they cover the sun and yet they bring the rains of the heavens.
Psalm 147:8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
When people look for things that are seen, then the 'Gospel of the kingdom' is hidden. But when people with faith look for the things unseen, then the gospel of the kingdom is revealed to that seeking mind. Like a light shining through a cloud.
Job 36:32 With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.
Jesus did say that world cannot receive the spirit of truth, and people are still looking for a man in the flesh to save them, from what they know not what.
Isaiah 25:7-8 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
Behold, he comes with covering cloud, and in this mountain he will destroy the covering cast over all nations.
Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
Unfortunately, for now, the light is not shining through the clouds, and instead that cloud is a dark cloud, and the sun has been turned to darkness behind it, and the moon turned to into the colour of blood.
Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.
Put this way, the 'Day of Lord' cannot come like a thief in the night if everyone can see it coming, can it now?
1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
The Lord's day is the sabbath, and the sabbath means peace, and on the sabbath you're supposed to cease from works, and yes even the works of our own hearts.
Hebrews 4:9-11 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
So, to be at rest within one's spirit, one must go within, into that 'Kingdom'
Mark 2:27-28 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
The 'Kingdom of Heaven' that comes not with observation, because it is within.
Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
So within is the Lord's Day, that comes like a thief in the night, because it is already in our house, a house which has been made a house of merchandise, and we sell the things of our house for others to buy.
Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.
Unlike John above, who was in the spirit on the Lord's Day, because John had ceased from the works of his soul, and instead brought the gold of Jesus that was tired in the fire of the earth.
Revelation 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
John had become rich in the knowledge of the spirit, because understood the following.
Habakkuk 2:20 But the Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
He knew the meaning of 'Be still, and know God' But, naturally, people looking outwards towards the world, seeking signs and miracles, miss the whole true meaning of the Lord's Day, and thus it has come like a thief in the night, all the while they seek the light in the darkness.
John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
The 'Kingdom of Heaven' has always been available to people, but the wisdom of man has shut up that knowledge to people, since they run after the wisdom and knowledge of men, through their religions and traditions, their philosophy and politics, and through their doctrines and ideologies.
Amos 8:11-12 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.
In short, there has been no rain, and the fields are all dried up, and thus, there has been a famine in the land. As prophesied above.
Job 35:10-12 But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night; Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
Unfortunately, during a famine, people will eat any manner of food that comes from those 'Beast of the Earth'. Who are those false prophets and teachers of men. These are the 'Merchants of the Earth' who make merchandise of people.
2 Peter 2:1-4 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (Again, think terms of the spirit and not the flesh) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. (Mean to say, people are already damned, which means to pay a penalty, and that penalty is to be ignorant of the true 'Gospel of the Kingdom') For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, (Our ignorant spirits are those fallen angels) and delivered them into chains of darkness,(Those chains are again about being locked into our own ignorance of the spirit) to be reserved unto judgment; (Death, and the inevitable rebirth into hell, again paying the penalty for our sins)
A merchant is known for the quality of their goods which are seen by all people.
Ezekiel 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
And if the merchandise is bad, then the merchant is bad also, because they didn't bother to investigate their supplier.
Proverbs 31:18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
It is not good to have other people buying the corrupt goods that the merchants sell, since in that way they'll be marked in their minds.
Isaiah 27:1 In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
Since it is that crooked serpent, even that Leviathan that has made its dwelling place in our collective minds, that is the supplier of our merchandise, which we then go on to sell for others to buy. We are full of her riches, and are made rich because of her.
Ezekiel 27:33 When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.
It's like being in a building with a book in your hand, thinking in your forehead about the contents of a book.
Revelation 13:16-17 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Now if the supplier of the book hasn't told you the correct way to read the book, then you could be corrupted by the contents within it, and thus be marked in such a fashion. And people being marked themselves, they will then go on to sell their own heart's interpretation of the book to others, and they may buy into it also, thusly, be marked. For example, being marked by the belief that the mark of the beast is some mark of the flesh, related to banking, like having a microchip, or a barcode stamped on the flesh, that without having, people cannot literally buy and sell the things of the flesh. Negating the fact that all people as said above, have the mark, regardless of their station in the world.
John 2:16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
What is being said is, don't become a merchant, and make the 'Father's House' a house of merchandise. Instead we should be seeking to destroy that which is in the midst of our mind, and cast it out of our 'Father house' so that we no longer buy and sell her goods.
Ezekiel 27:30-36 And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes: And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing. And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea? When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise. In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall. All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance. The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.
We must cut off the supplier of sins, and its violence that it inflicts upon our minds.
Isaiah 60:18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
In short, we must work to bring it to ruin, and terrorise it with the truth, that renewing and purifying word of God.
1 Peter 1:22-25 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
Of course, I talk about the spirit and soul, in an allegory, just like the scripture below does. Those who are marked, will think it is about earthly wealth, and about a literal city, since that's what they buy and sell. Their own heart's merchandise which they then spread to others, and of course when I say merchandise, people do know I'm talking about man's own knowledge and wisdom right?
Revelation 18:2-19 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
Because the 'Father's House' is the mind in a man, and we must make desolate that which made our spirit desolate. Rewarding her as she has rewarded us.
Proverbs 3:11-18 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
So, if people desire to remove their mark of the beast, they must receive the seal of God, so that it no longer eats the food that the 'Beast of the Earth' provide for man to eat.
Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
And thus they being the elect of God, cannot be deceived by the world's works and the words of men, no more.
Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
Since again, it is their food that marks all people, and brings death to the spirit, leaving it blind to the things of the spirit, and bound to hell, which is life in the flesh. The seal of God in the forehead destroys that mark of the beast, which is also in the forehead.
Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
