Peace of Mind

Seventh Thunder March 09, 2020
Seas are often used as parable for the mind of people in the scriptures, unfortunately there's a crooked serpent in it, and that leviathan that needs to be slain before any peace can come in the mind.

Isaiah 27:1 In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

Millions of people use meditative techniques to try and attain peace of mind, they practice mindfulness. They chant mantras to distract the mind from the contents of the soul. Even hypnotism is used in some cases to suppress certain addictive patterns of thinking that come from the heart to plague the mind.

Romans 5:3-4 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Thing is, if one doesn't know the source of the mind's discomfort, then one way or another, it will manifest in another more negative way. The tribulations and persecutions from ones own heart, one way or another have to be faced, or people will learn nothing of their own hearts.

Matthew 16:24-25 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

The same way Jesus bare his cross and was crucified on it, the same way we must do the the same, but unlike Jesus did in the flesh, we have to do it in the spirit. We have to forsake the very thing we identify with as our self.

Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

And remember, EVERYTHING that Jesus said or did, and even down to what he experienced in the flesh were a parable about the spirit. (Remember he was one with his Father) But because we're addicted to the flesh, then we can only perceive with the flesh. Which is natural, since people haven't been taught about the spirit by God, they've only been taught about it by man.

James 4:7-10 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

That crooked serpent in the sea of the mind isn't so easily slain. Because it is by knowledge that it is defeated, and only God can reveal that knowledge to the mind. So that it can learn to fight and resist the soul, and people can't resist something they neither know anything about, nor believe in.

Matthew 12:43-45 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

The above is alluding to something my dad once said to me years ago, that no matter how empty your mind is, it can't help but have evil creep into it. He wasn't wrong.

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Fact is, it cannot be silenced alone, so people will need help to resist those intrusive thoughts of their own heart. Most people try and do that and end up becoming addicted by something or another of the earth. No exceptions. Addiction is nothing more than a continuous escape from one's own earthly thoughts and feelings. To expound upon that, life in the flesh is an addiction of the soul which our blind minds continuously follow after, being conformed to this world.

Luke 6:47-49 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: (Of revelation, parables remember) and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; (The wisdom of this world) against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

If any addiction isn't broken, they often lead to ruination. The wicked one, Satan, our own hearts has snared our minds, and has it focused on the things and happenings of this world. All the while encouraging us to do both good and evil, while simultaneously keeping the mind in ignorance of itself and of what is ruling it. After most people think they're a soul or a body, and assume the mind to be the soul itself. The spirit is a complete separate entity to the soul and body, and the core issue is, people do not know that, nor believe that.

1 John 2:14-17 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

In the bigger picture, the same goes for the love of this of world, because as said, our souls and bodies keep us addicted to it, and for the most part in this era, when people die, they pretty much rush right back into the flesh, such is their addiction to this world, and ignorance of the 'Father'. With the following words of Jesus he lost hundreds if not thousands of followers because people thought he was talking about cannibalism.

John 6:56-58 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

To take it to a next level, in this day, people drink bread and wine as a ritual. Blissfully ignorant of the fact that his words were a parable about the spirit. Their minds as said below, is on the flesh and do mind the things of the flesh. As written, in seeing they do not see, and in hearing they do not hear.

Romans 8:4-7 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Having not received revelations of the Father, which is that hidden manna from Heaven which helps breaks the shackles holding our spirit, our own mind in this world, the mind can only be on the things of the flesh, and thus will remain addicted to this world and the thoughts of ones own heart, whether they be good or bad.

1 Corinthians 15:44-46 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

In short, if you die, and are still ignorant of the soul and by extension your own spiritual mindedness, then you'll be rushing right back into the world of living souls sooner or later, instead of being a quickened spirit.

1 Corinthians 15:52-53 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

That gets transferred back to Heaven in a twinkling of an eye, after overcoming this world.

Habakkuk 2:20 But the Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

So, let's correct the whole how to pray properly thing, to make the seas calm, and our minds made silent, so that we can be in that holy temple where Satan has made his seat.

Psalm 89:9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

The following is a parable about tossing out all of those unhealthy thoughts and feelings out of our minds, those thoughts that steal its silence and sense of peace. Thoughts largely influenced by the things of this world.

Matthew 21:12-14 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

As said before, the Father's House is our own mind, our spirit. So with our OWN mind we're supposed to turn to the Father, within, so that we can begin the process of being one with him.

Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Since it is he who helps reclaim it, and helps defeats those enemies within our minds, within our own household

John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Which is why Jesus taught people to seek the Father FIRST.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

And you seek it out by doing exactly as Jesus said.

Matthew 6:6-8 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

The closest is your own mind, and when you have have shut the door to your thoughts within, in that secret place of the spirit, which comes not with observation, pray to God with your mind, not your mouths like the religious do.

Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Ask for knowledge about the spirit for example, in your own mind. The 'Lord's Prayer' will be sufficient. And remember, the mouth is of the flesh, the mind is of the spirit.

Matthew 6:7-13 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

It's like counting sheep as you try and fall asleep. Do it that way, daily, in your mind.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

After all, the daily bread isn't literal food, it's that literal hidden manna from Heaven, and the Kingdom of God is within.

John 6:44-48 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life.

Then if it's your time of regeneration, the knowledge of the spirit will be revealed to you, and not in the way people expect. And certainly not straight away. But as the 'Father' sees your sincerity, then he will draw you to him, and reveal understanding to your mind.

Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

If people had done this from the start, then certain religions wouldn't even exist, because the power would be in ones own hands. The Church stated that revelation has ceased and closed cannon, almost 1900 years ago. The only thing that had ceased back then was people doing as Jesus taught, after all, if they had truly believed in him, they would have done what he had said, and eat his bread, and not the bread given to people by the Church.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

No man, and I repeat no man can ever teach people about God, but God himself via his spirit. If you haven't control of your own mind, then basically you'll have no control of your own thoughts and you'll be subject them, and possibly end up under the influence of others. Doing all of its knowledge of good and evil, knowing not what you do.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Hope that brings people some comfort. Or of course people can use crystals and stones to heal themselves or read cards with pictures. Or better yet, watch YouTube videos about star signs and the like.

John 16:25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.

All of the tools are within all people, since the 'Holy Temple' is ones own mind.

Exodus 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

If people desire quietness in the land, the land that is our own mind, then simply turn to the Father FIRST in the spirit, using the mind.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meaning to say, through what Jesus Christ taught.
