Symbiotic: involving interaction between two or more different organisms living in close physical association.
Only this relationship isn't mutually beneficial.
Ecclesiastes 9:3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
As I've explained before the soul and spirit are two different entities, existing in the human form, with the mind(spirit) totally blinded by the fact that it is more than just a body and soul. In most, they either think they're one or another, assuming their own mind (consciousness, awareness) is a function of one or the other. Not helped by the fact that we're dominated by the soul's function of memory and imagination, which controls all people at all times, we're unable to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart because we THINK we are them, and thus follow after its ways in all things.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Even the prophets thought they were only a soul and ITS thoughts, since this knowledge was impossible to discern before Jesus came into this world and taught people.
Matthew 13:17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
In short, this knowledge has been sealed and hidden from people, since the world began. Sealed from even the prophets who wrote the Old Testament.
Matthew 13:12-14 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
The knowledge can only be understood in parables, and to remove the seals from scripture, you have to turn to the Father, and be renewed in mind, and in righteousness. Then you'll come to understand his will, and do the work. The more you continue to follow his will, the more understanding you will be given in abundance. For all others, they'll remain ignorant, since they neither have the desire to be anything other than right in their own heart.
Isaiah 29:10-14 For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered. And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
The spirit which was created by the Father, the God of Heaven is our true self, and the soul which was created by the Lord God is our adversary, which is designed to keep us in ignorance of this fact, keeping us focused on its world and the flesh.
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
In short Satan. It is the Father through his righteousness which he bestows on us which makes us righteous, a quickening spirit.
1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
The Living soul is the the Lord God's Prince, his creation.
Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
We're the children of wrath, following after our own heart's lust, deceiving and being deceived.
Psalm 81:12 So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.
The former man is the Living soul who we have our conversation with, aka thinking. So we must be cleaved from it using our spirit to seek out the Father and his righteousness, which is difficult to do if one is ignorant of the fact the soul and spirit are two different things.
Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
It is our Father the Devil, and because of that, we all suffer on this Earth in one form our another. ALL on this Earth is of the Devil, the soul which is why this world must be overcome using our spirit.
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
All evil on this Earth comes from the source of evil, the soul which contains the knowledge of good and evil, which is why we think and do both, regardless of how we try not to. We're ALL victims in this because we know not what we do.
John 2:24-25 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
It is why we need the Father's forgiveness, and why we need to forgive others, which is difficult if you do not know the operations of your own heart (soul), which desires us to hate and feel with strong emotion every slight or disrespect against us. Using our own memories against us to perpetuate evil deeds and thoughts. Yes we do good, but we don't do ONLY good, which is what righteousness is.
Matthew 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
Because both are of one source which is in opposition to the spirit, we cannot overcome it by just doing and thinking Earthly good, since both the knowledge of good and evil as said come from the same source.
Mark 7:20-23 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
Make no mistake ALL are in ignorance of this and thus are ruled unwittingly by the God of this world, which has veiled our spirit to the Father of righteousness.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Before Jesus came we only had the Old Testament, which in reading kept our minds in ignorance, since we only had an earthly interpretation of spiritual matters. Jesus showed us the way HOW to use the spirit and have it renewed in the knowledge of God. A veil was on our minds, that veil being the soul and its operations, until Jesus showed us how to have it removed.
2 Corinthians 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
Remember, people don't see snares coming, and ALL means no exceptions, so if you desire to overcome this world, then learn to use the thing not of this world, the spirit, and seek him not of this world. The Father of Heaven, IF you desire to return there of course. Most people love this world after-all, and will fight tooth and nail for it.
Luke 21:34-36 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
