False Appearances
God is a God of Heaven not the Earth. The God of this world, the Earth, wants you to love people here in the human sense, whether that be love of families, work, religion, leaders, celebrities, Kings and Queens, love of nation or race, it doesn't matter. All these things are the of the Earth, and all things of the flesh perishes. You're either serve the things of this world, or the things of the Father.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The Father's love offers understanding of all things of the spirit, that is his grace, which is revelation, knowledge revealed to the mind, especially knowledge of righteousness, because he is the only one who can convert a mind back into righteousness, and a righteous mind does only good, departing from the evil learning of this world.
1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
To begin to know God, one must first turn to God in spirit, and like with all things, the more effort put into that, the more results you'll get out. Faith here is key, because first one must believe in the Father by actually applying what Jesus taught about him to yourself.
James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Unfortunately, worldly doctrine and religions have people going about that the wrong way, making them think that if they only believe in the name of Jesus and of God, they'll be saved, retarding any progress towards becoming righteous. They're looking outwards for appearances, seeking the approval of men, instead of going inwards and seeking God.
1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
And the unprepared heart is full of evil, and that where our treasure is, and where all lust for the Earth comes from. Because of it, all people give themselves over to the world, becoming self-righteous, obsessive and pious, understanding nothing, yet seeking to be in control of everything. They become morally superior, thinking they are good, when as written, none are good but God. And more importantly, they have no forgiveness from God, because they themselves don't forgive others for their transgressions.
John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
What part of do not judge don't people understand? Regardless, one cannot judge righteously without having the Father's revelations within themselves, since it is that which brings understanding, and with understanding there is no judgement after the flesh. The all too human need to be right at all costs and better than others takes people down to the road of death and buries them. As Jesus said, they have their reward.
John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
No one wants to hear anything contrary to what people have set their hearts on, which is this world, few want to hear that their lives have been wasted, or that their spiritual, religious, ideological or political beliefs are a waste of time and a snare of the soul. Fewer still want to hear that the soul is evil, tantamount to being Satan himself within us all. The perfect Trojan horse, unleashing its army from within, figuratively killing our spirit, and our will to do good at all times.
Isaiah 59:17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.
Even when this knowledge is realised, a battle has to be fought, while wearing the helmet of salvation, and welding the sword of truth which is of the spirit, for it is righteousness given from God that will carry us through these tribulations of our own souls.
John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Our own souls, and in some cases other people's souls will persecute the spirit within for desiring to become righteous and seeking the Father, because it knows its death is nigh within us. It will flood our minds with all sorts of thoughts to turn one away from the path to righteousness. Remember it wants us in its world, walking its course. People will have to learn to hate its ways and hold over themselves, instead of giving themselves over to it, unwittingly.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
The choice is a simple one, you either want to live a short life here and then die and come back again to you know not what, or you want life eternal in a place that only knows good, a kingdom in direct opposition to the Earth that only knows Earthly good and evil, and few escape experiencing the latter in the flesh.
Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
ALL are unrighteous here, it is a dangerous thing to love anyone and anything including your own family beyond all else, like all emotion it needs to be carefully managed, and human love and spiritual love are as far apart as anything can be. You cannot serve God and mammon, and mammon covers a wider scope that most would like to believe.
Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
At the end of all human love and not to mention this so-called life, there is grief and sorrow. Know the fruit, because the rewards of the Earth are fleeting at best. Remember that the Old Testament is full of the good and evil of the Lord God. So continually have your mind thirst for the truth of things, seek the Father and through his revelations daily, prove what is true and good to yourself, separating the tares of the Lord God from the wheat.
Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Keeping hold of that which is good, and resisting the evil thoughts rising up in yourselves. It is the understanding from the Father that will give you peace and understanding if you but seek him in spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5:18-23 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Reading the Bible and then thinking that you understand it and God is going about things in the wrong way, which is the nature of things here, to get all our knowledge from reading, so an easy mistake to make. However knowledge of the eternal comes from revelation from above. Being an expert or knowledgeable about religion, or scripture is no better than being knowledgeable about anything else on the Earth. It brings people no closer to salvation, and instead just fills them with doctrine and religion.
After all why do people think that they're literally hundreds of versions of the same religion, all of which are concern with the flesh of a dead man, but not the quickening spirit he taught us to strive for? We've set up holidays in his name, when he said there nothing to celebrate here.
Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
It is in Heaven where we celebrate, when one sinner has overcome this evil world, not in the presences of others in our Earthly churches, it is not there where one gets understanding. It is upon the rock of revelation, that which is not of flesh and blood, but from the Father of Heaven one receive understanding. It is upon that rock people are called out (Church) from the Earth.
Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
As Jesus stated you should seek the Father FIRST, and then the understanding of the scriptures will be opened to you, having all things added to you.
