Rest in Peace

Seventh Thunder August 17, 2020
Rest in peace is a ubiquitous statement made when someone has passed on, and it is claimed that it came from the Latin phrase 'Requiescat in pace'. However, the core origin is this.

Isaiah 57:2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

Unfortunately, people are deceived, because when people die they don't suddenly become righteous, and they aren't 'Flying with the Angels' or 'Looking down on them' as people like to believe.

Revelation 9:5-6 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

They're from our point of view, dead, but from their point of view, they're being prepared for their next life in the flesh, to experience their next judgment in the flesh, hence the death will flee from them statement above. Because many that suffer in flesh and seek to escape it via committing suicide, but there's no escape from this prison until the uttermost farthing has been paid.

Luke 10:18-19 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

This is why it's all-important to cast 'Satan' and his works out of our minds so that those scorpions, those wicked and deceitful thoughts and imaginations from the heart can be tread upon before they torment the mind in a man.

Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

They're the enemy, and that is what all people need power over so that the 'Kingdom of Heaven' within is no longer taken with violence by 'Satan' and those who unwittingly serve him.

Ephesians 6:11-13 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Up in the spirit)

As said, the battle is not of flesh and blood, it is to be clear, a battle to reclaim the 'Kingdom of Heaven' where the wiles of the 'Devil' run amok ruining and ruling your mind.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

You die once in the flesh and then are ultimately born into it again if you haven't overcome the world in which the 'devil' desires to keep you in.

Revelation 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

The problem with the understanding of this is that people don't know what this world really is, and this is the world as mentioned above, the world that people will have to go out into again, to be further corrected. Few believe that their parents are imperfect and that they will have to suffer further corrections in the flesh. Fact is, that all will, religious, atheist, or otherwise until perfectly refined into the perfect spirit, made whole.

Isaiah 48:10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

For that is what this world is, a place of correction, a place where people are made straight in the furnace of affliction, and when made ready, are called and chosen out of this world.

Habakkuk 1:12 Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.

For that is what this life is, the judgment, and that prison is the flesh which inhabits this world. The world's foolish beliefs about hellfire and eternal damnation are just that, foolishness.

John 15:20-27 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

Of course, none who believe that when their parents die for example, that they're suddenly angels in heaven will like the 'Gospel of the Kingdom', hence why Jesus said the above about those who preach the true gospel.

2 Samuel 14:14 For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.

The truth will not be liked, for few can look at themselves and see themselves as the bad guys, as those who need correcting in this place of our banishment. They'll certainly not like the idea that their entire personality gets swept clean so that the spirit is free of the shackles of past failures and memories of the flesh. But as said, God doesn't respect any person. Come to understand what that really means, since it is more important than people think.

Psalm 45:3-5 Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.

People claim to love Jesus, but hate what he taught, for them the truth of his words will be like arrows piercing their heart, for he spoke of it and what it truly is.

Luke 6:45-46 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

They will claim to speak in his name as said above, but they'll have no idea of the 'Father' and what he is, since people worship him ignorantly, with their hands, in a building made with hands, and not with their spirit. It is why people talk of the spirit, but cannot speak with it, they talk of their own mind as something alienated from themselves.

Acts 17:23-25 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

It is much like those who claim to be 'Christians' but yet hate immigrants in their land. It is not their land, and neither do they possess God, who they treat like a convenient tool to be used to fulfill their wishes and dreams of the flesh. It is certainly not about healing the spirit of a man. Even worse, they are those who claim to have the 'Holy Spirit' and then go around claiming to heal the flesh. The purpose of the 'Holy Spirit' is to heal the spirit, not the flesh.

John 14:11-13 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

So, people might want to consider what they're healing with, and to what end. The opposite of what you think, and yes Jesus healed in the flesh as a parable of the spirit. The greater work than that of Jesus is to heal the spirit of men since the spirit is above that of the flesh.

Ephesians 4:17-19 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

If these people truly cared about the 'Spirit' in a man, the word immigrant would be irrelevant, and such people would be of the full understanding that they're the true immigrants dwelling in perishable flesh.

Hebrews 11:15-16 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

They would be as said above, like those immigrants they chastise, seeking another better country.

1 Corinthians 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

Consider heaven, would the Angel's within want that type in their land, especially since they don't even seek peace on the earth for all? Do you think that attitude is desired in the 'Kingdom'? Such will be kept far from it, and the understanding of it. God himself will see to that.

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

People forget why they cast out of heaven in the first place, and since the fall, few have improved in their nature, and even worse, seek to ruin the lives of others with their own corrupt nature.

Matthew 5:25-26 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

What most people don't know is that the soul is still connected to the spirit when they die (For Jesus it wasn't, since he overcame his adversary in the wilderness), and it's the soul's works that take away people's rest and peace in life.

Psalm 95:10-11 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

The thing is, that one must learn to rest in peace in life, via that understanding that the 'Father' gives the seeker. Revelation is what reveals it to the seeker's mind. As said, seek and you'll find.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

They must enter into that 'Holy Land' in life, that 'City of Peace' which is what Jerusalem means.

Job 12:22 He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.

Again, the flesh is a shadow of the things of the spirit, but people take the very image of the flesh and forsake the spiritual meaning of things, which is why Jerusalem the literal city has no peace, but is divided against itself, and thus there's no rest there. The same goes for the spirit, because it hasn't ceased from the soul's works, and thus people are not taking the light of knowledge out of the darkness where the truth is hidden within.

Hebrews 4:8-10 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

In death, it is still the same, for there is no peace in the soul, but the true peace comes from the spirit detached from the soul, which is what the 'First Resurrection' is, being raised up out of the body and soul.

1 Corinthians 15:44-46 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

The 'Second Resurrection' is dying but still being connected to the soul, and thus not being able to enter in Heaven, because the soul, that 'Living Soul' is of this world, and its job is to keep you in it, doing its works, and when people try and depart from its works, it will fight back causing the spirit to suffer.

Isaiah 53:10- 12 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

So, people who remain in the state of the first Adam which was made a 'Living Soul' have failed to be converted into a new man, the last Adam, the quickening spirit, which at the end of its time in the flesh, pours out the soul unto its death.

1 Corinthians 15:22-26 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: (Read that again, and grasp the meaning, because it means in their own individual time of regeneration. This is the doctrine of the individual after-all we all have our own trials and tribulations to overcome, and this not achieved in a group or a religion. Ultimately, you will enter Heaven alone, and Christ being the first, is he who leads the way) Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

While people are blind to the spirit, to the nature of their own heart, and to the world, then death will always have dominion over man, time and time again.

Romans 6:9-10 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Look at the world today, where the fear of getting sick and dying is used to impose rules over people. People who are ignorant of the above will always be subject to the world and thus will always fail to overcome it.

Mark 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

There's no peace in people, because the news of the world, that pestilence that plagues the mind keeps it focused on the things of this world and the cares of life. Because of it, we're constantly debating, arguing, insulting each other over the world's knowledge and wisdom. We read and watch videos presented to us by others and even algorithms on the internet, and this information and knowledge are presented to us quickly through high-speed internet. Then our minds are twisted and made corrupt through the knowledge of man, and that knowledge or to better put it 'information' always has an agenda, and that agenda simply is to rule over the hearts and minds of men.

Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

They always want us hating something in our hearts, and they're always wanting us to be thinking about something, especially when comes to the future, and unknown to people, that hate is what condemns them to a fate they know nothing of.

Revelation 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

We live to experience, and yet our thoughts and opinions come through the experiences of others.

Luke 21:34-36 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

We immanentize the doctrines of men in which we are snared in one form or another and then delude ourselves into having some form of truth, making the earthly, heavenly. This is why people obsess over the earthly places of Israel and Jerusalem, thinking that they're 'Holy Places'.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Whereas the only true 'Holy Place' is the mind in a man, that spirit, that temple of God, in which the 'Holy Ghost' teaches that spirit. Now if that land is not at peace, then the 'Holy Ghost' cannot teach within it. That is the land that needs to be still before God, first and foremost, and that is the land that man needs to fight for.

Psalm 35:20 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

The purpose of the 'Gospel of Peace' is to bring peace to the mind, by turning it away from the cares of this world, and having it focused on itself and the things of the spirit, which reveals the mystery, since the flesh and the perception of, hide that knowledge of the spirit. In short, if there's no quietness in the land, then that land is overrun with what is called 'The beasts of the field' aka the knowledge of the flesh.

Luke 8:10-18 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

The bottom-line of the above is that if you don't share the 'Gospel of the Kingdom' then that knowledge is taken away from you. Like fire, it has to be kindled, and if there no wood to keep that fire kindled, then it will go out. It is up to the individual to share that wood that the 'Father' gives you to share with others. Since the fire is not only for yourself but for others to come out from the cold and warm themselves also in the word of God. In short, if you share that knowledge of peace you will achieve that peace, in patience, and only after coming through much tribulation.

Psalm 85:7-9 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation. I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

As I've said before, that land is your mind, and that glory would be the 'Knowledge of the Spirit' given by the 'Holy Ghost' sent by the 'Father'.

Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

So, if people desire the true peace of God, then they must apply to themselves what Jesus taught.

Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

For once you're on the path of peace, the spirit within will be tried in this world, not only by your own soul but the souls of others. And once you begin to see the soul's wrath against you, while you dwell in the 'Kingdom of Heaven' which is within, you'll know its end is nigh.

Job 30:16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.

That knowledge of Jesus when applied will see you through the world's tribulations, that persecution that comes from your soul, and coming through that great tribulation will help wash your robes, meaning to say, it will help bring about quietness in your land since the gift of righteousness from God will bring quietness your land (mind). It's quite clear that today people don't desire peace, for they neither seek the 'Gospel of Peace' nor believe it when heard. So, like all people continue to complain about earthly issues. What they do seek is comfort in each other, and thus become no better than their peers.

Hosea 4:7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.

They like most people believe numbers matter, but as stated above, as they increased in the flesh, they shall decrease in the spirit and be brought to shame.

Romans 10:14-16 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

It's no accident that those who are religious are the same ones that would have you panic and worry about the world's events or even your own life circumstances. Their confidence is in man and his knowledge, and as their own hearts condemn them, they desire that your own condemns you.

1 John 3:20-22 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Such people are brimming with negativity, and would sooner bring you to worry and concern over anything else. Unfortunately, such people are unaware of the consequences of their own mouth.

Job 15:6 Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own lips testify against thee.

You need to be very careful about what you say to people, at all times, because again, people reap what they sow. So, sow peace, the 'Gospel of Peace', so that all people in their due season may rest in 'God's Peace'.
